  35. Er, no, I don't think that's what the GPL says.
  36. If you distribute a GPL'd work you must make its source available.
  37. If you distribute a work DERIVED FROM a GPL'd work you must make its source
  38. available.
  39. It doesn't say anything about distributing source for everything else in
  40. the package accompanying the GPL'd work. I don't think the discussion was
  41. about adding gkermit to the VxWorks package (though I don't see anything
  42. wrong with that either), but merely about trying to use a kermit protocol
  43. engine to do file transfers to/from VxWorks.

  45. Don't listen to MS's FUD about how the GLL infects everything it touches,
  46. because in an example like this it doesn't.
